The White Box House · Qinling is pleased to announce the launch of "Mailbox", a solo exhibition of artist Xu Xiaoguo's residency project, on August 28, 2025.
This residency project marks the first solo exhibition of an artist since the launch of the "Qinling Art Awakening Program" in May this year. From July to August, Xu Xiaoguo, a post-70s artist native to Xi'an, Shaanxi, has been creating works during his residency here. For him, returning to the Qinling Mountains is like coming home, immersed in the familiar atmosphere of his homeland.
During the residency, he has continuously recorded and shared his perceptions and insights of the Qinling Mountains, presenting the integration of nature and art from his unique artistic perspective. "Mailbox" is not only a carrier for emotional transmission, a witness to memory and culture, but also a continuation of Xu Xiaoguo's spiritual world.
